Sterling Scholar
The Sterling Scholar Awards recognize outstanding Utah public high school seniors for excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. This prestigious program highlights students who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement and meaningful contributions to their school and community.
Eligibility & Nomination Process
- Each Utah public high school may nominate one student per category (14 total categories).
- A student may be nominated in only one category.
- The selection and nomination process is determined by each individual high school.
- Nominees must be high school seniors graduating with the class of 2024-2025.
- Students taking college courses (part-time or full-time) and foreign exchange students are eligible, but the program primarily recognizes academic achievement in Utah public high schools.
- Nominees should demonstrate extraordinary scholarship, leadership, and community service through their high school experience.
